Spelling

With the advent and sophistication of computer spelling checkers, how can there be misspelled words in a paper? Misspelling is a mystery. Always run your spelling checker (but don't rely on a so-called "grammar checker" -- they don't work very well).

Note that homophonic errors won't be flagged by a spelling checker -- anyway, homophonic errors aren't spelling errors, they're usage errors.
