About The Rose+Croix Martinist Order®
In the United States, the largest Martinist organization with an unbroken Line of Filiation from Augustine Chaboseau and holding a traditional Martinist practice is The Rose+Croix Martinist Order®, commonly referred to or known as as "The R+CMO" or just "R+CMO" (the R+CMO's official name and emblem are registered trademarks and are fully and legally protected). Initiates of The R+CMO are directly in the Chaboseau line, not the Papus line. Rose+Croix Martinists receive original Martinism through The Initiation as it was first transmitted by Louis Claude de Saint-Martin himself.
The Rose+Croix Martinist Order® is a Christian Theurgical Order and offers genuine, world-affecting Theurgy as found in the tradition from Saint-Martin.
Unlike other Martinist groups, The R+CMO confers the complete Initiation by granting all four Degrees to its qualified members. The R+CMO uses ceremonies derived from the original 1895 and 1916 Order Rituals.
The Rose+Croix Martinist Order® has as Initiates business people, educators, clergy, home makers, blue collar workers, law enforcement personnel, health professionals, management personnel, and many others. Most Initiates are married and are established in their communities. Almost all hold a college degree, and many hold graduate degrees. Most have devoted ten or more years to esoteric studies.
Some Qualifications for Initiation
You may qualify for The Initiation if...
- you are a Baptized Christian (Christian denomination of your preference);
- you consider yourself a Christian;
- you attend and support your Christian Church;
- you are an adult man or woman;
- you live near a Circle of The Rose+Croix Martinist Order® or can travel to a Circle; travel to a Circle will be easier if you live in any one of these States:
- California
- Oregon
- Nevada
- Arizona
- Utah
- Wyoming
- Colorado
- New Mexico
- New Jersey
- Maryland
- Delaware
- Virgina
- West Virginia
- Pennsylvania
- you have a deep and abiding interest in mystical Christianity;
- you have been a student of the Mysteries for at least five years;
- you have a place in your home where you can do Martinist Work;
- you are accepted by the R+CMO Circle;
- you can attend, at least occasionally, the annual gathering of R+CMO Initiates.
