This is the bottom side of the floorboard under the pilot's seat before and after rebuilding. New micarta material was used. The fiberglass covered area of the old floorboard is the heat duct to the rear seat area. This section of the new floor board has been "closed in" with new aluminum sheet. After installing the new aluminum, the area was covered with the same Cessna Citation insulation as was used in the fuselage. |

At the far left is the completed floorboard installation. At the left, the wings have been installed. The wing span of the Beaver is larger than the hangar door opening, which made some "jockeying" necessary to get the aircraft in and out. Fortunately, we had a powered tug at our disposal for this operation. |
